The Cutera Titan utilises a safe, infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skins surface, causing immediate collagen contraction.

Titans light-based platform provides a more uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis than other energy sources, such as RF (radio- frequency).

Although a single treatment has produced very good results for many patients, it is quite common for patients to have two or three treatments over a few months. Your dermal therapist will advise you as to the number and frequency of treatments recommended for optimal results.

The condition of the skin will continue to improve as the Collagen that has been simulated is maturing (this takes up to 12 weeks). There is no downtime with this treatment, you may continue with normal activities and attend those big events!
With each Titan pulse of up to 8 seconds you will feel a heating sensation. You will also feel the handpiece gliding back and forth on top of a cool gel, very much like a small hot stone massage. The treated area will experience several passes with the handpiece. As the dermis is being heated with infrared, collagen cells are awakening.
